Adam J. Forster is a senior software engineer and technology leader with over 20 years’ experience building bespoke business systems, primarily in Python and Django. His background spans e-commerce platforms, ERP systems and Linux-based web infrastructure using PostgreSQL and Nginx.

Most recently, Adam spent nearly four years as Technology Director at Jewellery Quarter Bullion, leading the remote in-house development and IT teams behind market-leading brands including BullionByPost and Gold.co.uk. Alongside delivery, he is known for building high-trust teams, mentoring engineers and embedding a culture of continual improvement.

Adam is now seeking a fully-remote role where he can return to more hands-on development while continuing to support and mentor others. He is particularly interested in roles that solve real-world business problems with well-designed, pragmatic software.
